After reviewing the project and its setting, the Environmental Coordinator for the County of Tuolumne has determined that the project is categorically exempt from review under the CEQA, pursuant to Section 15061 of the State CEQA Guidelines because the project consists of the exchange of 0.57+/- acre of Open Space zoning for 0.81+/- acre of Open Space zoning which is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.
