Note: Lead Agency Changes to Santa Clara Transportation Authority Widen/upgrade US 101 to 6-lane freeway between Monterey Street in Gilroy and SR 129 in San Benito County; reconstruct existing US 101/SR 25 interchange; add auxiliary lane in each direction on US 101 between Monterey Street and SR 25; extend Santa Teresa Boulevard from Castro Valley Road to the US 101/SR 25 interchange; improve the southbound US 101 off-ramp at SR 129; construct frontage roads; grade-separate the UPRR crossing on SR 25 just west of Bloomfield Avenue; construct bicycle facilities.
