Document Description
This proposed project involves enhancement of three man-made stock ponds, four multi-use connector trails, development of a loop trail with a ford crossing, and construction of a 60 vehicle parking lot. The Project will result in impacts to 3.3 acres of California tiger salamander and Alameda whipsnake upland habitat including temporary including temporary impacts to 0.77 acres of upland and 0.812 acre of pond habitat; the Project will permanently remove 2.55 acres of California tiger salamander and Alameda whipsnake upland habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander and Alameda whipsnake, which are designated as threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
