The Project is located 0.25 miles south of the City of Shafter in the unincorporated area of South Shafter in Kern County, California, along an approximately 6.53-mile long corridor that follows the road rights-of-way (ROW) and waterline easements of Shafter Avenue, Poplar Avenue, Beech Avenue, Myrik Lane, Riverside Street, Orange Street, Burbank Street and intersecting roads and alleys that included Ratzlaffe Lane, Thomas Lane, Eliot Street, Richland Avenue, Gossiper Lane, Smith Lane, and Alfalfa Lane.
