Construction of sewer lines within the rural communities of West Shafter, Southwest Shafter, Thomas Lane, Smith Corner, Burbank and Cherokee Strip. Sewer lines will connect to the Shafter/North of the River Wastewater Treatment Facilities. Force main alignment includes the construction of ~34,500 linear feet of pipe, 3 lift stations operation in series, and 2 independent lift stations connecting to existing sewer lines between the communities and the S/NOR WWTF. A proposed average daily flow of 124,080 gallons per day, with a peak flow of 223,344 gpd.
