Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2007-0216-R6 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Temecula. The applicant is proposing to remove approximately 13,700 cubic yards of silt and debris from the Ronald Reagan Sports Park Desiltation Basin as part of a routine maintenance project for the basin area. The silt that is removed from the basin area will be temporarily spread in an area adjacent to Rancho Vista Road, allowed to dry out, and then will be transported offsite to a landfill. The basin areas containing riparian vegetation impacted by maintenance activities will be allowed to reestablish between desiltation maintenance cycles.
