Document Description
Community Plan Amendment (CPA), Vesting Tentative Map (VTM), Planned Development Permit (PDP), and Rezone from IP-2-1 (Industrial-Park) and RM-2-5 (Residential-Multiple Unit) to RM-3-8 for the construction of 11 mid-rise residential buildings with a commercial component for a combined area of approximately 684,159 square feet, and 1,008 subterranean and surface parking spaces. Building heights would range between 36 and 48 feet above existing ground level and between two and four stories. The buildings would consist of 484 multi-family units. The project site is generally bound by Calle Mar de Mariposa to the north, West Ocean Air Drive to the east, Los Peñasquitos Canyon to the south, and Vista Sorrento Parkway to the west. The Torrey Hills VTM project is located within the Torrey Hills Community Planning Area (Lots 1 through 4 of Torrey Hills Unit 19, Map No. 14301) and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Influence Area. The site is not included on any Government Code Listing of hazardous waste sites.
