A proposal by the County of San Luis Obispo to reconfigure the intersection of Nacimiento Lake Drive and Chimney Rock Road to improve safety. The project will result in the disturbance of an ~8 acre area. Approximately 35,000 cubic yards of earth will be excavated to create the new alignment. The new intersection will impact an unnamed ephemeral stream tributary to San Marcos Creek. Regulatory permits will be required from the Army Corps of Engineers, the Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Dept. of Fish and Game.
