Document Description
The CUP project involves pumping water from two existing wells at Coso's Hay Ranch property in Rose Valley for injection into the Coso geothermal field. The CUP and HMMP for the project, which were permitted by the County in May of 2009 concurrently with certification of an associated EIR, require that after one year of groundwater pumping the groundwater model developed for the project be recalibrated and used to revise the groundwater level triggers, pumping rate, and duration of pumping for the project. Those recalibrations and revisions have been detailed by the Inyo County Water Department in an Addendum to the HMMP, which documents the work specified by the HMMP and presents baseline groundwater elevations, updated groundwater level triggers, pumping rates, and pumping duration.
