Document Description
Re-route approximately 3,000 feet of the existing Pioneer Express Trail within Folsom Lake SRA. The re-route is necessary because portions of the existing trail are on a steep bluff, are eroding and create unsafe conditions for users. The re-routed trail will be constructed with a 4 foot wide trail bed with a maximum grade of 8%. The project will involve clearing brush with hand tools and chain saws, installing one rock retaining wall, constructing two armored crossings of seasonal streams and constructing three bridges across seasonal streams.
