Document Description
Stabilize and revegetate approximately 511 feet of the bank of Sausal Creek downstream of Highway 128 in Alexander Valley. This are has experienced severe bank erosion in recent years. The intent of the project is to preserve property adjacent to the creek and to reduce sediment delivery to the creek. Bank stabilization will include excavation and resloping of the stream bank and installation of minimal rock rip-rap (about 180 yards), construction os stream barbs to reduce bank erosion and increase potential habitat for fish, placement planting with native riparian vegetation.
