Document Description
The project consists of a 1,575-acre habitat enhancement and restoration. Tidal action will be restored to the site by constructing four breaches to create a habitat continuum including subtidal channels, intertidal marsh, and upland-wetland ecotone to benefit estuarine biota such as birds, fishes and small mammals. The project will reestablish wildlife corridors and connectivity of habitats at the landscape scale. The project includes a variety of recreational and educational components.
