Document Description
The proposed project is the conveyance by DWR of up to 16,500 acre-feet per year of RRBWSD's water to CVWD through 2035. The delivery of water to CVWD will be accomplished through the existing conveyance facilities by two means: (1) delivery of a portion of RRBWSD's allocation of KCWA's approved Table A to CVWD, as an exchange for a like amount of RRBWSD's water within KCWA;s service area; and/or (2) conveyance of RRBWSD's water pursuant to Article 55 of CVWD's Water Supply Contract with DWR by direct delivery of RRBWSD's water into the Cross Valley Canal and then into the California Aqueduct in Reach 12E for subsequent delivery to CVWD.
