The proposed project is the adoption of the 2007 Compatibility plan for the French Valley Airport by the Commission. French Valley Airport is located in southwestern Riverside County, adjacent to the communities of Temecula, Murrieta, and Winchester. The previous plan was the 2004 French Valley Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan ("2004 Compatibility Plan"). The Commission has elected to abandon the prior 2004 Compatibility Plan, and to consider adoption of the new 2007 Compatibility Plan.
