Document Description
The project would remove exotic plants and conduct habitat restoration activities on two parcels totaling ~21.5 acres along the Colorado River within the Picacho State Recreation Area. Approximately 5 acres of the restoration project would be on adjacent Bureau of Reclamation lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management. Approximately 5 acres of new lands would be treated. The newly treated lands may included the plantings of willow, cottonwood, and mesquite taken from local cuttings.
