Document Description
The Postal Service owns a 612,000 square foot postal facility on a 77-acre site at 3775 Industrial Boulevard, West Sacramento, CA. The facility is known as the Sacramento Processing and Distribution Center. The facility is a major mail processing, sorting, and distribution center for California. The Postal Service intends to expand the building by about 280,000 square feet in order to allow for more efficient postal operations and to provide space for the deployment of a new generation of automated mail processing equipment. The expansion will occur on the existing Postal owned site.
