Document Description
The proposed project is a necessary repair associated with a breached levee. Flooding in 2005 resulted in the removal of 2,790 linear feet of earthen embankment and redirected the main stream course of Lytle Creek through the mining pit operated by CEMEX. The levee is excluded from critical habitat mapping, and site surveys by biologists have not observed any sensitive plant or animal species.
