The purposes of the proposed project include: (1) compliance with current State drinking water quality standards by installing a California Department of Health Services (DHS) mandated chlorination system; (2) improve delivery adequacy and increase pipeline capacity by replacing the existing deteriorating potable water distribution system that currently supplies the Lili Valley community; (3) improve community fire protection by replacing and adding new fire hydrants; (4) upgrade and improve the existing storage tank access road; and (5) upgrade the electrical system.
