Document Description
LADWP is proposing to divert and spread high runoff flows through unimproved spreading diversions, sandtraps, and spillgates. Some of the diversions flow into channels that return flows to the Owens River, some end in pastures, and some go directly on to the desert without a channel. Purpose of the project is to attempt to control flows during high runoff events and provide ground water recharge.
