Over the course of a week or less, a three-man dive team with surface supplied dive gear will utilize a suction dredge tool to remove the existing bay sediments from above the piepline. Pits will be excavated in an inverted cone shape, with an assumed 30-degree angle of repose until the pipelines can be visually located.
