Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number BUT-53485-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Parks and Recreation. The Project involves conversion of an existing walnut orchard into riparian habitat. The Project is limited to removal of a non-native English walnut (Juglans regia) orchard and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus sp.) trees, minor grading of the former orchard, excavation of approximately 1,300 linear feet of farm berms, installation of a temporary irrigation system, control of invasive herbaceous species, and restoration of 35 acres of native Great Valley riparian habitat mosaic.
