The Tentative Subdivision Map would create nine single family lots ranging in size from 5,392 square feet to 9,227 square feet. The rezone request is for a Planned Development (PD) combining zone to allow for parcel sizes less than 6,000 square feet in size as currently required in the R-2 zone. The project proposes a family layout with an average density of 4.8 dwelling units per acre which is within the density range of the Medium Density Residential land use designation of 2 to 6 dwelling units per acre.
