One high priority component of the Sacramento County Pedestrian Master Plan is the Howe Avenue Bike and Pedestrian Improvements Project, which will construct active transportation improvements by installing Class II bike lanes, sidewalk infills, signalized mid-block pedestrian crossings, and transit stops.
