Document Description
This Agreement includes 32 miles of 500kV transmission lines, three (3) miles of 220kV transmission lines, and 70.01 miles of existing, un-paved access roads, The alignment includes the placement of approximately one-hundred-and-six (106) new; lattice steel towers (LST) and 29 tubular steel poles (TSP). Approximately, 132 existing towers will be removed. Typical disturbance-activities associated with transmission line installation and upgrade includes; wire pulling sites, guard structures, construction work areas around each tower location, construction yards, helicopter yards, material yards, new access roads, and modification of existing access roads. Project activities within the stream zone include: trimming, crushing, grading and/or grubbing vegetation; installation of new, and repair or replacement of existing, culverts and dip crossings; and filling channels to create temporary construction pads. Project locations which anticipate significant impacts to streams are described below. The remaining impacts minor impacts associated with regarding of existing access roads and tower removal.
