Document Description
The District proposes to construct the Vail Lake Transmission Main and Pump Station to extend the raw water conveyance system from the existing Valle de Los Caballos groundwater recharge basins to Vail Lake. The Vail Lake Pump Station consists of 4 14,000 gallons per minute capacity variable frequency drive pumps at 500 horsepower for a maximum design capacity of 80 cubic-feet per second. The Vail Lake Pump Station will include the future construction of a hydroelectric generating facility.
