- The proposed project involves the development of 4.77 acres of undeveloped land into a commercial mini-storage. The project will remove 4.77 acres of Mohave ground squirrel habitat. The Department of Fish and Game, as responsible agency, is issuing an Incidental Take Permit for the Mohave ground squirrel, which is listed as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act (Fish and Game, §2050 ct seq.) and which could be taken as a result of the project.
