Document Description
The proposed project is an Amendment of the City of Santa Clarita's Sphere of Influence (SOI). A Sphere of Influence is a plan for the probable, ultimate municipal boundaries and service area of a local agency, as determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). The purpose of the proposed project is to establish the probable ultimate southern boundary and urban service area of the City of Santa Clarita. The plan reflects the most efficient provision of future services including police, fire, and utilities, and establishes who would have responsibility to provide such services.
