Document Description
Replace the surfacing of the service yard located between the historic mansion building and the visitor center. Work includes removal of 1,900 square feet of compacted decomposed granite and replacing it with poured-in-place concrete. The concrete surface will be finished with a textured finish and be sealed with a color hardener to give it the appearance of the original decomposed granite. The project will solve the problem of unconsolidated granular particles originating from the deteriorating surface being tracked into the historic mansion and scratching the wooden floors.
