Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to shut down the Colorado River Aqueduct in order to conduct inspections of its facilities to determine the extent of infestation by the invasive quagga mussel and to hyperchlorinate the aquduct in order to slow the progress of the quagga mussel infestation. Metropolitan will also construct concrete pads for parking of sodium hypochlorite tank trailers at the Copper Basin and Eagle Mountain Pumping Plant facilities.
