Document Description
The work at this site is needed to repair and restore to pre-flood condition, the levee sites damaged during the Governor's declared flood disater in Sacramrnto County in January 2006. the proposed repair includes cleaning the damaged areas, backfilling the scarp with impervious fill and restoring the rock protection of the waterside slope to the height and thickness of the adjacent undamaged area. The rock protection will be placed on a 6-inch layer of bedding material. This repair will prevent the possible destabilization of the levee slope and resulting levee failure.
