BART proposes to extend the existing Airport/Long-Term Parking Program in the Colma, South San Francisco, San Bruno, and Millbrae West Bay Stations at a $6 daily parking fee. The Airport/Long-Term Parking Program is designed to provide a limited amount of parking for customers wishing to use BART to access Oakland and San Francisco International Airports.

Revenues generated by fees established for the West Bay Airport/Long-Term Parking Program will be utilized for the purpose of either (a) meeting operating expenses, or (b) obtaining funds for capital projects necessary to maintain services within BART's existing service areas. Therefore, the establishment of the fees for these purposes is to exempt from review under the CEQA pursuant to the statutory exemption set forth in the California Public Resources Code Section 21080(b)(8).
