Document Description
This project is to conduct fuelbreak maintenance along a mile long segment of the Mountain Ranch Murray Creek Fuelbreak. This fuelfreak facility was constructed using dozers and hand crews. This project will use goats to remove highly flammable grasses and sprouting trees and shrubs in order to maintain the fuelbreak in a defensible condition. Goats will be confined to small portable enclosures until vegetation is reduced by approximately 75-80%.
