Document Description
The project involves construction of a boat launch ramp and associated facilities adjacent to the existing Antioch Marina. Project components include: a new 4 lane boat launching ramp, three new boarding floats, new parking area for ~82 vehicle/trailer spaces, and 47 vehicle only spaces, parking lot lighting, new public restrooms, drainage and erosion controls, additional utilities and signage. The project will result in permanent impacts to 0.60 acres of habitat for Delta smelt (Hypomesus transpacificus) and longfin smelt (Spirinchus thaleichthys), and temporary impacts to 0.39 acres of habitat for Delta smelt and longfin smelt. Project-related impacts are expected to result in the take of Delta smelt and longfin smelt, species protected by the CESA.
