Work to repair, replace or rehabilitate existing facilities or to protect public health and safety are permitted under PRC 5002.2(c). The project is also consistent with the DPR mission and its management directives aimed at creating opportunities for high-quality outdoor recreation.
Document Description
DPR proposes to repair or replace seven sewer lift stations in the sewage collection system at Clear Lake State Park. The sewer lift stations serve park facilities such as restrooms and showers, and remove sewage waste from the park. The following is a summary of project work.
- Replace sewage lift vaults, pumps and electronic controls with new equipment.
- At the site of each lift station, install a new above-ground concrete pad and fiberglass cover to house above-ground piping and control panels.
