The proposed project, the Elk Grove Care Facility, consists of a rezone of the subject parcel from AR-2 (Agricultural-Residential Zone 2 Acres Minimum) to AR-1 (Agricultural-Residential Zone 1 Acres Minimum), a Conditional Use Permit to allow a residential care facility in the AR-1 zone, a Design Review of the 44,715 square foot care facility, and an abandonment of a light and air easement applied to the property. The proposed residential care facility will include a 72-suite, 31,307 square foot assisted living wing and a 24-bed, 13,408 square foot dementia care/Alzheimer's wing.
