The Santa Ynez Valley Community Plan was designed to provide focused policy direction addressing issues and development trends specific to the Santa Ynez Valley. Existing zoning and land use policy allows for up to 1,140 new units. The plan proposes land use policy and zoning changes that would allow up to 1,209 new units, resulting in a net increase of 69 additional units beyond what current policy and zoning allows.
