The goal of the proposed project is to replace the existing County data centers with the proposed 58,000 sf data center and 27,000 sf office building that meet or exceed the County's building requirements and need for an essential facility. The existing data centers are antiquated and do not meet the building code requirements for buildings that serve essential facilities for the County. The proposed project would incorporate green building design principles to efficiently utilize water and energy and attain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification.
