Document Description
This project is a scientific evaluation of the condition of Central Coast estuaries with respect to pesticide concentrations and impacts. The purpose is to document pesticide concentrations and effects in order to establish a baseline for comparison with future conditions after agricultural management practices are implemented in the watersheds. The beneficiaries will by farmers who need to evaluate and optimize their management efforts as well as management agencies and the public, who will benefit from availability of necessary information about water quality in these critical habitats.
