Document Description
The proposed project consists of renovating the building located at 901 Sherman Avenue, the former offices of the Novato Community Development Department, for use as a city council chamber and community event venue. Key project elements include: lifting and moving the building at 901 Sherman Avenue up to twelve feet north of its current location; interior and exterior renovation and rehabilitation of the building; demolishing the adjacent buildings at 905 and 911 Sherman Avenue; constructing a public plaza and green space; and closing the left turn lanes at De Long Avenue and Sherman Avenue.
