Since certification and adoption of the previous environmental documents for the Natomas Levee Improvement Program (the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency has continued to finalize the design and refine the features of the Levee Improvements Project, including the restoration of a section of the north bank of the American River at the RM 0.5 Mitigation site to provide improved fish and wildlife habitat, and increased levee height within Reaches 1 through 11B of the Sacramento East Levee.
