Since certification and adoption of the previous environmental documents for the NLIP, SAFCA has continued to finalize the design and refine the features of the Natomas Project, including the restoration of a section of the north bank of the American River to provide improved fish and wildlife habitat, increased levee height within Reaches 1 through 11B of the Sacramento East Levee, removal of existing pump at Bennett and Northern Pump Stations, and modification of design and construction of discharge piping and Siddiqui Pump Station.
