Due to area-wide and regional growth in student population, new academic, support, and other campus facilities are needed to accommodate a gradual growth in enrollment up to 31,000 FTE (full time equivalent) students on the CSULB campus. The Campus Master Plan update provides for required instructional, research, faculty office and administrative space, student services areas, student housing, sports and recreation, parking, and support facilities.
