Document Description
The proposed project is to construct several earthen storage ponds of treated wastewater effluent from the Earlimart Public Utility District's wastewater treatment facility. The purpose of the ponds is to provide additional winter storage capacity. The material excavated for the storage ponds will either be temporarily stockpiled on District land or removed from the project site. Stored water will be pumped from storage for irrigation. During the spring and summer months, the water is released for crop irrigation.
