Document Description
The Water Authority proposes to reline approximately 18,000 feet of untreated water section of Pipeline 3 that runs along the Water Authority's Second Aqueduct in the City of San Diego from just south of State Route 52 through Mission Trails Regional Park to Lake Murray. Implementation of the Mission Trails to Lake Murray Relining Project would rehabilitate Pipeline 3 and ensure a safe and reliable water supply for our region's future. In addition, it was recommended that the rehabilitation of Pipeline 3 be completed prior the end of 2009 to coincide with the completion of the Mission Trails Pipeline Tunnel Project, thus re-establishing a reliable untreated water supply to the affected member agencies.
