Document Description
Construct a replica of a Miwok granary at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. The structure will be used for interpretive purposes. The structure will consist of a framework of cedar poles thatched with cedar boughs, fastened together with grape vines. Construction will require excavating four holes approximately 15 inches deep and 8 inches wide. The excavation will be monitored by a qualified DPR archaeologist.
