The purpose of the project is to repair the water damage to Yucca Cottage in such a way as to not damage its historic integrity, while ensuring the continued preservation this feature that has become part of the historic landscape of the museum complex. The repairs will follow the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties by ensuring that new materials will match in composition, design, color, and texture.
