Document Description
A Class 1 modification to the Hazardous Waste Facility Permit to change the closure schedule for vent piping at Building 006, ~20 feet of vent piping will be removed. Hitachi GST was issued a Hazardous Waste Facility Permit renewal on May 16, 2005. The Closure Plan was approved by DTSC when the Permit was issued included a schedule for closing the Facility, starting in January 2009. The vent piping removal implements a portion of the approved Closure Plan and changes the closure schedule for this portion of the Facility.
