Document Description
The Project would repace sections of concrete channel on Permanente and Hale Creeks between Arroyo Avenue in Los Altos and El Camino Real in Mountain View. The Mountain View Avenue bridge over Hale Creek in Los Altos would be replaced. A new diversion structure would be installed at the Permanente Diversion Channel in Los Altos. Flood detention facilities would be constructed at Rancho San Antonio County Park (Cupertino), Blach Intermediate School (Los Altos), Cuesta Park Annex (Mountain View), and McKelvey Park (Mountain View). The project would also construct underground culverts to convey flow to and from the new detention facilities at Blach Intermediate School and Cuesta Park Annex. Floodwalls would be installed along Permanente Creek north (downstream) of US 101 in Mountain View.
