Document Description
The project consists of the use fire suppressant chemicals to aid in the control of wildfires; mainly from airtankers and helicopters, as well as by some fire engines. It establishes controls on where these retardants may be normally dropped (used), and requires the use of protective gear by employees using the approved chemicals, and methods to contain potential spills of these chemicals. Only those chemicals approved for use by the Forest Service may be used.
