Document Description
The Circulation Plan for Bicyclists, Pedestrians, and Disabled Individuals describes a system of bicycle and pedestrian routes and associated improvements. The Plan is a general description of proposed citywide improvements. Individual projects will be fully evaluated and designed as opportunities arise, funding is made available, and citywide priorities are established. The Circulation Plan is part of the City of El Cerrito's vision for a more livable and healthy city. The Plan is designed to improve accessibility and mobility throughout the City for bicyclists, pedestrians, and disabled individuals. By improving transportation for bicyclists, pedestrians, and disabled individuals, the City hopes to enhance the quality of neighborhoods and commercial districts, better the health of its residents, reduce automobile use and thereby improve air quality, and provide access for people who do not use automobiles for transportation.
